For the record at this end, may I add

simply that my "Honour" suggestions were submitted as a result of a request from yourself. I put this down in writing to avoid the obvious deduction.

3.

It has been a big day in the old town today. I have announced the reopening of trade to a large press conference, I have decided once and for all against price control of any- thing except basic food commodities, Chan Chak has told me that he is arriving in Hong Kong tomorrow, and W. Motwill.
